SCOTT, La. (ENN) -- Scott Police responded to the scene of an attempted robbery at a popular boudin fixture in Scott around 3:25 a.m. on Friday morning.
The Best Stop Supermarket's Scott location, off of LA Hwy 93, was a victim of a attempted robbery around 3:20 a.m. on Friday morning.
In camera footage, it shows a pickup truck pulled into the parking lot then the driver aligned itself with the front doors then eventually, in reverse, it rammed into the store's entrance.
After multiple hits, it appears that the two suspects got spooked and ran into the neighboring field, leaving little time for the two to steal anything. It is unknown at this time if they were able to steal anything, and it is also unknown if the suspects were caught.
Crews are now working to fix the damages. The store remains open, but asks all customers to use the side dining area to order.
