I-10 overpasses in Scott shut down, police say

UPDATE: Police have opened up the overpasses as of Tuesday morning, however, closures are expected to be extended this evening.

SCOTT, La (EVEN)-- 2 overpasses in Scott have been shutdown due to the icy road conditions.

The Mills Street/I-10 overpass and the LA Hwy 93/I-10 overpass in Scott is closed, police say.

Police ask motorists to take alternate routes and to take caution on "smaller bridges that have not been closed."
